Domain Name Registration

We can register any available domain name and host it on our servers and are pleased to manage renewals if required. It will normally take up to 72 hours for a domain name to be fully registered and able to be used.

Hosted Sites
Where we host web sites using domains registered by us on our customer's behalf, the cost of registration and renewal is included within the hosting, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

We do not charge for the transfer/redelegation of a domain other than any third party fees such as a Nominet Registry fee that may apply.

We will automatically invoice you for the renewal of your domains unless you let us know if your instructions have changed before your renewal is due.

Domains registered by us and paid for by the customer are the property of the customer, who is responsible for the content of any sites associated with that domain.

We are members of Nominet UK and any uk domains that we register on your behalf via them require that you read agree to the Nominet UK Terms and Conditions

Should there ever be a dispute regarding a .uk top level domain, we agree to use the Dispute Resolution Service operated by Nominet in order to attempt to resolve any issues. Details of the Nominet DRS can be found here

Complaints Procedure
It is our aim to provide our customers with a high level of service. Should, however you are not satisfied with the service that you have received from us, please contact us and a Director will investigate and respond to you as soon as possible. In any event we would expect respond to your complaints within 7 days of receipt. You mau contact us in writing or by email.

More Information
When you want your own space on the web, you need to have an ‘address’ where you can be found. This will usually start with www followed by your unique name and .xxx. For instance; our address or domain name is www.total-needs.com. When you have decided what name you want, and it is available, we will register it on your behalf with the relevant authority. We then become your registrant.

Although you own the domain as your registrant we act as the licence holder for your domain. We submit the information to the registrar, e.g. Nominet that will allow your address to be found as a website or an email as required.

You must keep us informed of your contact/personal information and any other changes you wish to make so that we can keep things up to date. We also need to know whether you wish to renew at the end of the period.

Should you transfer to a new provider of hosting services whilst leaving us as your registrant, this is known as redelegation. If you move the registration, that is known as registrar transfer. You can do either independently. Where there are costs of transfer or any change in registration, we will charge that cost at the current rate. see this link for details of current Nominet information.
